Sting & Ziggy Marley vid 4 U!

Ello you lot! Well after trawling through Emule recently, I got hold of another Sting vid that I thought you might like.
It's Sting with Ziggy Marley from The Monreux Festival in 1988. A nice version of "One World". I can see Branford and Kenny Kirkland, but I don't know who the drummer is. 10 points goes to the HOD'er that get's him!!

Yes, it's Mino Cinelu on percussions and a great drummer from France, Jean-Paul Cecarelli (Dede's brother!).
The Cecarelli family is a drummers dynasty!!!

What are the odds? I had to check out some Dee Dee Bridgewater's stuff this morning. I was listening the drummer play some bad stuff and was like "no way I can play like that". It turned out to be Andr? Ceccarelli. I come home, turn on my computer and bump into this Ceccarelli dude again on HOD.

Dazzler, I recommend checking out Dee Dee's albums "Keeping Tradition" and "Love And Peace: A Tribute to Horace Silver" to hear Andre. Tasty stuff. Funny arrangements.

I recommend checking out Bunny Brunel's "Touch" cd (his first solo album)with Dede Ceccarelli,
Daniel Goyone(a really really great keyboard player!!!),Chick Corea and some String Ensemble.
Andre is incredible on this one!!! One of the most beautiful ride cymbal sound(for me...).

I took the dust off this VHS that I hadn't looked at in 10 years. Shots on the drummer are very short. At first I thought it was a young D?D? since he also already played with Sting, but it's indeed his younger bro J-P. Other tunes on it are "Be still my beating heart" and "We'll be together" without Ziggy. Sounds like this show was lipsync or bandsync since the endings kinda fade and sound is exactly like the album. Anyways, its good to see.

Dazz, yes, get Love & Peace of DeeDee Bridgwater. I'm pretty sure D?D?'s playing will fit your taste.
